10 Tips to Prevent Skin Aging




1. Protect your skin from sunlight 

It is known that sun exposure can highly damaged your skin. Harmful UV rays can lead to premature aging skin such as wrinkles, freckles, melaslas, dark spots, or uneven skin tone. It is vital to protect your skin from sunlight by applying sunscreen with at least SPF 30 everyday. For extra protection, wear long sleeve tops, light-colored clothes, a hat, and sunglasses with UV protection.


2. Eat healthy & balance diet 

Food is vital to our well-being. Eating healthy and balanced diet has a direct effect to our body and skin. Fruits and vegetables are rich in vitamins and anti-oxidants, which promote youthful and healthy skin. Also, avoiding food with high sugars and fats is another technique to prevent premature aging.


3. Exercise regularly

As we know, excercises help increase blood circulation and stimulate better metabolism and immune systems. It is recommended to excercise regularly, 15-30minutes for 3-4 days per week. When our body is healthy, our skin will too. Excersice helps prevent premature aging skin and give the skin more youthful appearences.


4. Have enough sleep

Not only that sleeping is good for your body funtioning, but it is also good to your skin. Quality of sleep plays a hugh role in maintaining a youthful appearences. 5. Quit smoking or drinking less alcohol

If you're smoking, stop. As a result, your skin looks dull, dry, and rough. Likely, alcohol is rough on the skin. Dehydration from alcohol will cause aging skin.


6. Cleanse your skin gently

Facial skin is more sensitive than other skin areas. Scrubbing your face too hard can irritate your skin, which accelerates skin aging. Gentle cleanse is recommended to remove pollution, makeup, and other substances. Also, avoid washing your face with hot or warm water, because it can caused dry skin, which may lead to aging skin.
